I recently finished my Medical test on July 18, 2014. I was wondering as anyone on a similar timeline got any RPRF fee request from the gov, as I am not sure when do I have to pay the reminder of my fees. Does anyone know if the timeline for RPRF ?

January End applicants are getting medicals what is happening with December applicants :( :( :(... Many haven't got their medicals yet.... Any december applicants have their medicals today??

The pre-condition for Medical is Eligibility. If the eligibility is passed then CIC will send the medical request. May be they are still working on eligibility (for example - One VO send the file to another for review).

what happened to December applicants?? Looks like there is no updates at all.. Common CIC atleast this week send us some PPR's plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Hi Vishal,

Pre- condition for RPRF is eligibility pass and not medical. In my case i got RPRF request after two months of medicals. 1st GCMS notes ( just after 10 days of medical request) reflected my eligibility was under review and referred for another review by another VO. Status for eligibility at the time of medical issue was : Additional Review required. 2nd GCMS notes mentioned Eligibility- PAssed and exactly on the same date i got RPRF request as per the notes date. Also, RPRF email mentions, like you have met the eligibility requirement. This is when one is confirmed about eligibility pass.
In most cases, people get RPRF and medical request on same date or in span of week or so, if everything is ok. but in few case, like mine, this can be delayed too.
Above is what i experienced and thought of sharing.

I agree and it depends on case to case or you can say depends on VO. In my case, from the GCMS notes, what I understood was that the medical request sent after eligibility was passed. But, agree with you as in general RPRF depends on eligibility.

Its too long now waiting for MR, i have a question...i got my AINP in March this year and is valid till end of this month. As i am still waiting for MR can i also apply for Federal PR through CIC.
To be on safe side as you never know if they refuse my case via CEC. Can 2 files go simulatneously?? :-\

Guys, does anybody know if VO can still contact my employer at this point (I received MR, but no RPRF yet)? I'm kind of getting into a nasty situation with my employer and a bit scared if VO calls - my employer might screw me on purpose....

I am still waiting too... CIC has communicated with me on July 22nd.

I submitted the additional employment reference letter as requested by CIC July 26th (two weeks ago), August 7th my on-line status changed to "in process" but no MR yet. Would it be an issue...?

I am wondering if anyone here had the similar situation and got their MR in the end? Any suggestions are appreciated.

You are good.. don't worry.. there are a lot of people from dec who are still waiting MRs.. do you mind sharing your timelines for others.. thanks..

Hi luvcanvisa,
US Visa is not required for Landing. Once you cross the border, you need to tell the security staff in US side that you came for Landing Canada. They will give you the administrative refusal letter. You can return back to Canadian side and do the landing formalities.
Administrative denial has no record / impact.

Thanks Buddy
