My Status is showing as "Application Received" even after MR came. I think it will take some more time to update.

Does everyone get RPRF notice before MR?
Even I was worried before but after some forum dig, got to know that is was quite common.

You submitted upfront medical or something? if yes, you will not get email asking for medical. It will only posted on CIC Status.

Congrats Rajvirk!!!

Btw, how was your landing experience at Niagara Falls? Can you please share the details...Thanks

Landed last night.

- Nothing much. Just make sure you have 50 cent if you walking and crossing border lol. Because canadian side you have to put 50 cent to cross it while you plan to walk across there.
- It went very smooth as I was there around 11PM, so no rush. All together took approx. 30 mins.
- No questions were asked by officer.
- 2 min process there and went to Casino for party lol.

Good luck everyone.

Congrats. Although you did your upfront medicals and RPRF, still did you receive medical request email and RPRF email? When your medicals was showing up in ECAS. Your reply would help some of us.

I haven't received any email. They just changed status on CIC site saying Medical has been received. Hope this will help.

Wondering if it is co-incidental or practise. They asked you for documents on 24th (they give you 30 days to respond) you responded within the 30 days, but they dont pick up your file again until the 30 day period has elapsed? they do other files in between...They asked you 24th June...you get MR 24th July

Well done on getting your MR

does it happen very often?? that they send the response only after the last day of the time give to us to produce those docs?? cuz I sent them some docs a week after they asked and no response yet..

If it's a background or security check, then I get it... I lived in 4 countries before Canada (4 police certificates), my husband - in 2... Roll Eyes

Now I was thinking - I read that some guy received his MR, but for his wife not. But when they went to do medicals, the doctor found both of them in the system. That means, the MR for spouse got lost somewhere? Is it possible that MR can get lost? Who is from December applicant who are still waiting MR did upfront medicals?

I do not think they would relay only on the police clearance certificate. I read that there are different companies involved in the security and background check. That is also why there is a section for security and criminality in the GCMS report. That is some thing to do with it.

Secondly, I know few people get the medical request for one person not for whole family. But doctor says that they can see it in the system. I would say, at least they get the MR even for one person. However, I completely agree with you that it can lost because of system fault. It is worth giving it a try to go to doctor and ask for the medical. Another option is order GCMS notes.

I take my words back. It may be still at eligibility as well. Somebody from December 2 got email on July 21 that he/she is not eligible for CEC because of less experience.

??? I ordered my GCMS notes 3 days ago.. God, this is torture.. not knowing your future, not being able to make some long term plans, living in the eternal waiting mood, hoping, thinking, if "they" will let me stay or "they" will say sorry, you are too "good" for Canada, you cannot have your life here.. :(

But have to think that everything will be good :) otherwise you won't be able to enjoy your day to day life :-)
