does anyone know how long it usually takes for ECSA status to change to Medical Result Received after having done upfront medical exam?
I get my medical exam done on 12 July, and emailed a scanned copy of the information sheet to CPC ottawa, but I haven't heard anything yet except the autoreply email.

Application sent: 9 December 2013
Application Received: 13 December 2013
AOR Date: 3 Feb 2014
Upfront Medical Done: 12 July 2014
Visa Office: CPC - Ottawa
ECSA status: Application Received

Was the exam request send to you from CIC?

Same boat guys, upfront medicals were submitted by June end. Status still at application received. Will I be receiving a request for the permanent residence fee ? or should I pay that upfront too?

This is entirely your choice. Some would argue, this would make the process a bit faster. Others would say that atleast the request will give you an idea of the time line that you are on... Your choice..

.

You will receive RPRF request as soon as they find you eligible in CEC category.

Not for me. :( But there is a one for December 2 applicant on trackitt.

No... still waiting.. :( why it takes longer than for others? Is it because CIC is still deciding if I am eligible? :-(

I think eligibility has been already passed. It must be at background or security check.

If it's a background or security check, then I get it... I lived in 4 countries before Canada (4 police certificates), my husband - in 2... ::)

Now I was thinking - I read that some guy received his MR, but for his wife not. But when they went to do medicals, the doctor found both of them in the system. That means, the MR for spouse got lost somewhere? Is it possible that MR can get lost? Who is from December applicant who are still waiting MR did upfront medicals?

I do not think they would relay only on the police clearance certificate. I read that there are different companies involved in the security and background check. That is also why there is a section for security and criminality in the GCMS report. That is some thing to do with it.

Secondly, I know few people get the medical request for one person not for whole family. But doctor says that they can see it in the system. I would say, at least they get the MR even for one person. However, I completely agree with you that it can lost because of system fault. It is worth giving it a try to go to doctor and ask for the medical. Another option is order GCMS notes.

hi experts,

i'm planning to apply SOWP for my husband, what is the total cost of getting SOWP online.

When i apply for SOWP online, it says fees is 155 cad.

Does it include VISA + Work Permit or WP only?

or should i apply visa separately and SOWP separately?

Hi Everyone,

My ECAS has been updated to Medical Results Received.

Question: How do I find out about my medical results?
