"...In accordance with the principles of procedural fairness, the officer must afford the applicant the opportunity to respond to any concerns related to the occupation and work experience in question.

After receiving additional information, if the officer is satisfied that the applicant has qualifying work experience, they should continue to process the file as usual. If the officer is not satisfied that the applicant has the qualifying work experience, they should refuse the application...."

Wish they added it 2 months before. Too late for me. No one gave me opportunity to add more details to my reference letter. Unfortunately, neither I nor my employer knew how to write it correctly at the time I submit my application.

I think your file fell off of the pile, and a Visa Officer who is working with September Applicants, picked it up and started working on it.

In Process is not a bad thing, but now only September Applicants are getting In Process, so your status changed really really early considering you are from December group. If it changes to Decision Made, that could be a thing to worry.

Have you paid upfront RPRF? Done upfront Medicals?

Add them as soon as possible so CIC can process the forms.

Hey guys,

So I filed my Application on Dec 17, received my AOR around the same time as everyone else. I am just wondering what the next step will be and when December applications should (roughly) begin to start getting notified of the next stage?

I realize I'm a little early, just wanted to discuss the coming steps with people going through the process at the same time as me.

Any thoughts or discussion on this would be appreciated. Waiting is killing me!
