Hi everyone! AOR received!
Such a relief.. for another 8-10 months

My ECAS status shows "Application Received". But I have not received any AOR. I had provided the email address in the application. I need to apply for the BOWP. My work permit is expiring soon. I called CIC and agent said you have to have AOR to apply for the BOWP.
Please suggest.

Application received by CIC on Dec 23rd 2013.
Bank Draft cashed on Feb 5th
AOR received today Feb 10 (8:00 PM MST) :-D

How did you pay for the application? Credit card or bank draft? Try to find the day that processed the payment it is usually based on your coordinates, you might receive an aor in 2-6 bussiness days after the financial approval.

Why must the wait between credit card charged and AOR issued be so torturous!!!

Every email I receive, I get excited only to be let down...

My CC got charged by 10-Feb-2014, however it is showing in my statement that on 07-Feb-2014. Hope to receive AOR by another 2-3 days. Thanks a lot for this forum members for the help.

My application was received 24th December, bank draft cashed 6th Feb, 2014, received my AOR today!!!!Wooo hoooo

Thanks for the reply defrontier. I paid through the draft and it was cashed on last 07-Feb-2014. However, I received my AOR today and that is so relief.

Hi all, my application was received on December 6th. I got an email saying the application was complete, it would be sent to a visa office for process and that they would charge the 550 dollars on January 20. I haven't been charged and haven't received anything in the mail. Is this email the AOR? Also, I can't log in the website with the number they provided. I need to apply for the BOWP ASAP and I'm confused with what was sent to me. Thanks
