Guys, Any thoughts on this.

Just applied for my PR under the CEC. I work as an articling CA student for an accounting firm.

The NOC code I have indicated is 1111 as the NOC website clearly states that articling students are to be included in this group.

The problem is, I'm currently on a labour market opinion, only allowed to work for a specific employer. On my work permit, under occupation it indicates the following,

ACCOUNTING TECH/CHARTERED ACCT

The employer reference letter and other supporting documents clearly show me as a CA student .lol


Anyhow, I'm a former PGWP applicant applying for my pr under the CEC for a second time!! It took immigration canada 7 months to tell me that my application was completeness checked and returned. I never received it back.

1111 should be right. Are you an auditor?

Yeah I l've quit my job now. About 620 Financial Statement audit hours, Some review and mostly tax hours.

I sent cic my time sheets ( i.e total assurance hours, tax hours etc).

I'm hoping this works, prior to this job, I was working as a staff accountant/bookkeeper for a Management Consultant (C.M.A). I deemed this term to be under 1311,

Fair enough. You don't actually need to send time sheet. As long as the employment letter stated clearly, should be enough, But guess no harm. So I presume you have worked under 1111 for more than a year?

Btw, it does not seem many applicants under 1111, not at least in this forum. I am 1111 as well. Best luck to your application, and surely to myself also.

Do you work in a public accounting practice as well or for the CRA. CGA?CMA?

Very few articling students applying for PR under the CEC class. Thats for sure! Big firms don't take in foreign workers such as myself and there are only 600 small firms in Ontario

Yep, I am working in one of public accounting firm. I applied as auditor, qualified already on CA. Hope our applications will go smoothly.

I sent my application in today. My employment letter states me as a CA student and I provided them with my ICAO assurance and review hours listing to confirm my position as a financial auditor. Hopefully everything goes smooth.

I sent my application on 11th Dec 2013, as per Canada post it should be delivered by 17th Dec 2013. Already updated the sheet.
I am in Montreal since March 2011, NOC 2173.

Yes, my work experience is from Quebec.
I have plan to live outside of Quebec.

You might need proofs of intention to live outside Quebec.

Second that. Proof of the intention to live outside Quebec might be required.
