i got PPR for me and my wife on 30 oct,2014. my wife is in india so i can't get her passport here in canada. so on 31oct,2014 i have emailed cic to change visa stamping location to new delhi for me and my wife. My representative said it should normally take 15 days to get reply but sometimes it takes longer. so no choice we have to wait.

Hi AMG,

Did u send the passport to Ottawa ? In my case my lawyer advised to send the passport and attached a letter mentioning the same. I have normally seen them sending the communication through mails and not through emails. Not sure whether this is the fastest way but just wanted to share. I am also in same situation and i have to travel to India in couple of weeks

Yes, I am.. In fact did my medical and paid rprf in July . N waiting for the ecad status to say "Medicals received"..

This might be stupid question but What can we do if the Ottawa office is not replying to the email?

Its been 45 days since I sent my T4 but they haven't respond yet and my ECAS status is still the same.
I emailed again 10 DAYS AGO. They opened the email but no replies again.

. Best thing to do is to apply for GCMS notes and see if all your documents are in order.

My CoPR turned up today My status changed to DM on the 28th.

All in all I'm quite impressed that this has all been finalized two months faster than the 13 months that CIC advertised.
