December 2013 Applications

I received my GCMS notes today. I applied for them a month ago.
and the assessments are as below.

Eligibility: Passed
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: In Progress
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Other Reqs:
Final:

what exactly do they check in Security and Criminality. those status were updated on July 30th which is 7 weeks ago. I have never been to any country other than india and Canada. why do you think it is taking soo long for those checks. do they have to complete all the checks before a decision is made?

any leads are appreciated. thank you guys.

Another week of No Progress at all. Checking the ECAS and forums daily and hoping for some update to our Dec applicants.
I dont know how the medicals are still flowing through and other process after that was on Hold.

Praying to God that next week should be something Good.

Already completed medical for me and my spouse in July. In ecas still there is no info for medical received. But the clinic is saying that they already sent the medical results on 26th July.I received GCMS notes yesterday and found as below. Can you please help me in understanding my Medical status.

I have question I had applied CEC from Inside canada but my wife she is in India, can we do upfront medical. Is it possible, please suggest anyone situation like this.

My application received on 17 December and received AOR 5Feb. Addition documents request for T4 and Notice of Assessment on 15 Aug2014.Still waiting for medical request.

Usually take 30 to 40 days but I have applied around 1st week of August and still not received GCMS notes

The logical conclusion that I can draw is that a couple of officers were reshuffled and hence all the cases are stuck...
