If the trend is steady, you should get yours around December 24th! We received ours exactly one year after date of submital!

Our ecas has not been updated yet, but we did get an email from Singapore in regards to a query we did 4 months ago, and they said our application is pending final review - i am not sure what stage that is, but we hope it's good.

Only 4 months to get a reply to an enquiry... Don't know whether to laugh or cry
Apparently it depends on the Visa Officer reviewing your file... some update ECAS and others don't
This has to be our month to hear some good news

Well we received our notes this evening
And we are so excited... under eligibility... PASSED !!!
Just waiting on them to finish the criminality
Haven't gotten all the way through yet.. wanted to share our news

Well it is the start of a new week again... And the last full week of work for the Visa Offices
I am hoping they will rock our world this week and spread lots of Christmas Cheer!!!

Lets see, last update for us was "Started your application process Nov 15" (finally!) Only 4 days left and will be 1 full year since was all in their hands.That strike REALLY delayed most of us I think, it seems we're at the tail end of a group, as others are passing us leaps and bounds, even without any issues in our applications.
I almost wonder if maybe we might all have that same one person handling our files, not quite as speedy as the other officers?
How much longer should it take, anyone with a good guess?

Hi guys, just writing to say that Singapore received my wife's passport on December 30th.

Now we are waiting impatiently for them to send back!! The medics were redone and sent on December 7th so I'm guessing Singapore also received those.

Courage guys, wishing the best for all.

For most of us, 2014 will definitely be better than 2013!!

Mine still received Dec 31/2012, and "In Process as of November 15/2013", no new update since.
I'm trying to be patient, but it was at 12 months processing time upon them receiving application in February 2012, and now 15 months, does that apply to new applicants in the last month or so, or are we in that new time frame as well?

Sponsor was approved on January 21st... so hoping we will have news on that date...LOL

Hello every one, I just got my DM to day online.

Hello cdnmom, it's going through Ottawa Pilot.
Just got an update this morning on their site, " A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
So, in Nov 15/2013, we got "In Process", so now where are we at, and as far as waiting for them to contact my wife with the decision etc. Will they send her a letter by regular mail, if so, how long?
