I was thinking about how long you have been in process when I saw ours change :(
What a great Christmas present that would be !!

Well we are now approaching the middle of November
Hopefully everyone waiting will hear something very soon... this week would be great :P

Still no ecas change for us... Hoping soon..

You sure can tell that there is no news for our December applicants when I have to go to the middle of page 3 to find our thread :(
Two more weeks left in this month to hear some news before we hit the 1 year mark when our applications were submitted to CIC-M

It would be so nice to hear from someone... There must be news from someone
Have a great week everyone

Here's a little input, haven't posted for a looong time, but sponsored my US wife and 15 year old step-daughter last December as well. I'm living here in Canada, citizen all my life, going back and forth to the US each month to be with them.
I was approved as a sponsor in February, and have been following any updates, using her UCI number on her end. My UCI is not working anymore, and think it's pulled from the system, or I just screwed up trying to log in a few months ago?
This is the info that's been posted when checking her status with her UCI #

1-Application received December 31/2012
2-Medical results have been received
3-And today- 'We started processing your application Nov 15' appeared
Decision made on the left hand panel has been there for a few months now, along with the first 2 lines of information they posted on the right panel.
She was asked for a document from the daughters real father ( supplied it) and a scanned copy of passports on June 27/13, which we supplied within days, and they received.
So, where might we stand now, with today's update (#3) from them?

Hi Rice-racer

You are almost at the finish line!!
You will probably see decision made in the next couple of days and your COPRs will be in the mail enroute to your wife and stepdaughter
Keep us posted

Thanks cdnmom for your response.
I just thought after reading the last posts, least I could do is offer some input, since our application was last December.
This forum has been a big help to many, and even myself, have posted a few obviously answered questions, but there's always that 99% sure feeling, and a little input satisfies ones own answers.
I will post again when I hear or have any updates, just so people can get a good time frame as to how the system is working.
I know there are a LOT of people on this forum, but many don't realize with the past labor dispute when things started rolling again in Ottawa etc.The dispute may have been a big inconvenience for many, but again, it was justified, my own personal thoughts.
I'm just happy to know things are getting back to normal, and many are being processed faster to clear the backlog.

10 more days in this month and then we hit the 1 year mark for the month we submitted our applications
Come on VOs... send us some Holiday Cheer!!!

Another week, another neglected visa application. no movement yet.

Only 5 more business days in November
I hope we get good news next week

Hi December applicants!

I finally landed the 16th of September! The immigration process at the airport (Vancouver) went well, hardly no questions and a friendly officer. Cross my fingers for you guys, I really hope all of you get approved before Christmas.
