Wow that was quick. Did you apply in November or December?

Has anyone else notice that a few applications which was transferred to the visa offices in November are already getting PPR? Lets hope they keep up that trend!

I got my sponsorship approval! ;D

Congrats to all who have got approvals .
I have question about medical exam form IMM1017 that needs to be submitted with spousal application.
I heard with the new system(e-medical) Copy1 of IMM1017 is to be submitted as to the old Copy 2 IMM1017. My wife did her medical and the physician gave her the old form. Does any1 know if they are still accepting the old forms? I guess not all panel physicians are updated to the new e-medical system. Any comments will be appreciated!!!Thanks.

No I wouldn't worry. I did not get an email. Mine arrived a week after the decision was made via post.

Hi I do not have an answer, but try this thread. There was a suggestion or two that may help. It depends when your wife's medical was complete if it was before November 1st or not. Is my understanding. But a senior member would have more insight.

Sorry, I also am not sure. The only thing I can advise is that if you or your wife are in Canada you can call CIC 1 800 242 2100. Follow the prompts...or just hit 1 a few times (like 4) and then hit 0 for an agent. You can explain to the agent and see what they say. Another option, (but I don't know how much luck you will have) is to email your local VO.... Good luck! Sorry if I wasn't any help!!
