Ok I stumbled across this comment on another thread. "They are obligated to act on your behalf and the VO must reply within 5 working days to an MP." So I see now why you may wish to involve your MP.

How's the moral December Applicants? How many days are you waiting since you sent your passport guys?

Me and my wife it's been 63 days now that Manila office received it...this waiting is killing me :(

It's been 3 months for us with the office of New Delhi... still no news! Patience might be a virtue but living seperately is not fun at all!

Hubby got his PPR today! Sooooooooooooooooo happy! We were literally in tears. ;)

The documents he has to send are NSO copy of Marriage certificate, AOM and passport. The additional forms hubby filled out are Appendix A and personal history.

God is good! The process is almost done, visa is next! :)

Hi there...i would just like to ask how to properly fill out the PPR or the Appendix we just receied for visa section in manila.

It is really confusion on our part on what information to put in...
I am the applicant and my husband is sponsoring me...i have one dependant.i understand that me and my daughter would have to fill out the form individually...
The confusion now comes whether or not to put my husband information. As i undertand it my husband is the sponsor and i dont need to put his info anymore...

I appreciate if you could guide me on what part of the PPr needs to befilled out and what not...my email add is available for any response...

Thanks for you time...

Kind regards.

Hello all!

For all of you who sent their application in December 2011, let's talk and help each other here.

I've sent my application on December 10. Finally after all those months of processing papers, certificates and other requirements, me and my wife feel so excited but nervous at the same time. At least now, the real waiting game begins.

I'm from Montreal, my wife is from Philippines. What's your story?

Let's support each other, we're all in the same boat 8)

Hi Ludovick,
Just a quick question.
When ur wife filled out the PPR or the Appendix A,did she include your information?
This is the question we have at the moment after receiving the PPR from manila office.

I would really appreciate it if you could guide ua on this matter.
thanks and kind regards!

Got a reply from Delhi through my MP saying that they are waiting for Mississauga to confirm that I made the last payment for the PR fees before they can issue the visa. Anyone as any idea how long it might take to get that confirmation from Mississauga? We really want that visa to be issued soon!

Guys, I just logged into my wife ecas and guess what? status changed for Decision Made! I couldn't believe my eyes, I had to pinch me to be sure I was not dreaming :P My wife's application went straight from 'Application Received' to 'Decision Made', we never had any updates on ecas since December 13, the day the application was received in Mississauga (no 'Medical Received', no 'In Process', nothing! until today).

here's the ecas info now:

We received your application for permanent residence on December 13, 2011.

We started processing your application on July 13, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I'm so excited now and relief that the wait is over... even if I won't have total peace of mind until my wife got her VISA in her hands, but I'M pretty sure it's just a matter of days till she receive it.
