Guys, I just logged into my wife ecas and guess what? status changed for Decision Made! I couldn't believe my eyes, I had to pinch me to be sure I was not dreaming My wife's application went straight from 'Application Received' to 'Decision Made', we never had any updates on ecas since December 13, the day the application was received in Mississauga (no 'Medical Received', no 'In Process', nothing! until today).

here's the ecas info now:

We received your application for permanent residence on December 13, 2011.

We started processing your application on July 13, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.


I'm so excited now and relief that the wait is over... even if I won't have total peace of mind until my wife got her VISA in her hands, but I'M pretty sure it's just a matter of days till she receive it.

Actually, it's funny because I thought about your case just after we got our DM. I told to myself : 'oh, I hope dadaem got good news also' because I knew your timeline was very similar to mine. Don't give up , stay positive, I'm sure you'll be the next in line to receive your DM. I'll keep an eye here, just let us know if you got any news, I'm interested to see when u will get your VISA also.

Thank you. Thank you. These past few months had been very difficult for all of us. I'm really hoping for a positive news this month. And as soon as I read your post, my heart skipped! I got so excited. Lol! I just emailed CEM about my husband's change of address last Friday. I still don't see any changes on his ecas. It still has the old address. But I hope they update it soon! I'll keep praying. And congratulations to you and your wife!

Congrats Ludovick!! My husband's app is the same, straight to DM! Wohoo!!! Dadaem and my husband have very similar timeline. I hope the remaining December applicants will get their visas too!

Just a quick update: My wife got her VISA by DHL this morning, so officially she has her VISA on her passport in her hands now 8) it took only 3 days to receive it after DM.

Flying to Canada on August 10 and landing in Montreal on August 11 at 7h00am, much excited now, can't wait to hug her and kiss her at the airport.

Don't worry. Marami pang natitira sa December 2011 applicants. Isa ako doon. I had an ecas update last June 7. My mailing address appeared under my name. Nagkaroon ka rin ba ng ecas update on the same date? Si Dadaem and samantha had an ecas update last June 3 (if my memory serves me right) and they got their DM July 17. Tayo na kaya ang susunod? Keeping my fingers all crossed...
