Can any one please help me for the below query ??

I am from INDIA, i filled my application for SINP under Family Class Sponsorship and gave my application to my uncle who is staying in Saskatchewan , he submitted my application to Saskatchewan immigration office on December 8th 2011. we got a letter with file number January 11th 2012 and the letter says "When your file is assessed, we will contact you if any further information required." but till the date we didn't receive any communication from Saskatchewan immigration office.

we didn't pay any processing fee, except courier charges.

i would like to know, how much time it will take to assess application which are related to India. and i would like to know when we have to pay processing fee??

Hey everyone.
It's been awhile since I posted, but I have been following everyone's adventures over the weeks.
First of all, congratulations to all of those who have received their visas and pprs.
I'd like to inform everyone that my wife received PPR as of April 26, 2012, and our passport arrived at Beijing office by April 30th.
It has only been two weeks, so we have yet to receive it back.
By your experience, how long should this take? We already have our flights booked for July 17th.
Also, do you think it would help if we informed them of the flights?

Thanks a bunch.
Bill

If you received a letter with a file number, then you can check your application status on at the CIC website. If it's past the average processing time for your country, then you can call them to see what the delay is all about.

Hi sis mistletoe!

How are you doing?

I'm planning to fly in a later date somewhere in September. My husband will be here in the Philippines at that time to visit for the last time before we both fly back to Canada. :)

Hey everybody
Im new here
I process is inside dec 15th 2011 and they open my process in march 9th 2012
anybody else inside?

Hurray

COPR received today!! From what I can gather, I don't have to send my passport away to London, I assumed that everyone did, but I believe that Visa Exempt Countries do not have to send their passports to the Visa Office that issues their COPR. Ireland is a Visa Exempt Country, so it's not a requirement for me.

So now I can Land! OMG, what a great feeling! Watch this space!

Just want to wish all the best of luck to the rest of you December Applicants. .

I received some valuable advice along the way and this forum helped me a lot. So I will keep checking on here and pass on any information that might be useful to others.

As we would say in Ireland - Slainte!

From my understanding, you must pay the fees before processing can begin. I'm going through spousal permanent resident application for my wife. We paid the fees online and sent the receipt along with our initial application last december.
