I have seen some applicants who received such response and this is because they have reached the quota of this year so they will hold the visa until january and will issue it january.

Completely agree with saki. There are so many applicants from NY VO facing same problem due to visa limitation of specific visa office.

I got exactly same message from London CHC back in August. After that they required me to send UK PCC which i have sent recently.
Now im waiting for next step, i ll email in next week i hope.

Hey...... my family immigration case is in chc ISLAMABAD...... i emailed them and they told me that they have to follow the applications in order as they arrive..... so it means chc ISLAMABAD will send medical before chc LONDON as our case is before april 2010?

Does anyone has any authentic answer I mean an answer supported by document or experience .actually I have some reservations about quota system .With all respect to seniors especially SAKI ,quota system does not exist.

One of the member of this forum sent an email and asked about that (dec/jan ) email , and he was told by the CHC London that when they have no updates on applicant file then they sent this generic email to the applicant.
if even they have a quota then they will n must have a way to allocate it accordingly, they cant finish quota in 8 months instaed of 12.

Hi Buddy,

Quota system is there from a very long time and evey visa office can issue a certain number of visas every year and now its an end of the year so many visa offices have already issued the visa which they are allowed per year so thats why they are writing letters to applicants. its only now that they have changed the quota to per NOC rather than each individual office, so uptil end of this year visa offices still have to follow there quota for the year and from next year it will be 1000 CAP for each NOC.

I have got a similar mail from them, early january and they have also mentioned that since my medcials will lapse on 1st April, I must ensure travel before that date.

UK2canada, I am curious to know which member spoke to CHC and they replied when they dont know the status they answer like this. This would be highly irresponsible. When there is no update, I thought they say your file is under review.

i dont remember the name of that member but here was some. Actually you are right normally it happens when in our case every thing is done just the final review is awaiting then they send us a message like that.i received same msg in august and i think my file was waiting for final review as my ecase says medicals have been received. in october i received an email to submit my updated UK PCC and i beleive that it was my final review and the officer found that my UK PCC is more then one year old and request the same. i ahve submitted it now and waiting for PPR.
