Deboard flight in another province as a International student

Hey All,
I’m international student and my course will start in October/2021 at Vancouver as blended online program till 31st December/2021.
I will be arriving in Canada 3 to 4 weeks before my course starts(i.e In September).

As My college is in Vancouver. Can I stay in Toronto with my sibling.
Can I take flight to Toronto directly or I need to deboard at Vancouver first to get my study permit?
Please let me know If anyone has arrived in another province other than the college’s province.

Will you have proof of your travel to Vancouver? Assume you are coming from Asia so Toronto would be travelling much further than Vancouver. You will likely be questioned about why you are coming all the way to Toronto if your studies are online and you are not going to Vancouver, which is much closer, where your school is located.

Were you able to travel to Toronto? I am planning the same thing but I can't find answer to this. Please help. I have online class in Ontario but I will stay in Manitoba. I'm not sure if this is allowed. Thank you.
