I am Saifil and I am an International Student here in Toronto. I enrolled here in a 1-year program in Jan 2020 and my study permit lasts till 6th January of 2021. Normally this study permit would end on 31st March 2021 as confirmed by some of my other friends who are International Student in the program but, as my passport was expiring at 6th Jan. 2021, the due date for my study permit was the same as the due date on my passport. Now I am in this weird situation in where my program ends somewhere in the final week of December 2020 and my study permit ends in Jan 6th, 2021 just a week after my program ends. I want to know if I can get an extension of those 3 months in my study permit till 31st march as that might be important for me?
