Dd will expire in 3 months OINP

Even I got my DD made from SBI and submitted it to OINP.
I have made photocopy of the DD - in which it is clearly mentioned "REQUIRES REVALIDATION BY ISSUING OFFICE IF PRESENTED AFTER SIX MONTHS FROM DATE OF ISSUE"
This means it is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

good to know this. This means there is no such RBI rule for foreign DD, otherwise SBI would not have mentioned this. Lets hope all other bank have 6 months validity.

many applicants will feel relaxed. I am constantly asking bank to confirm the DD is en-cashed or not, there is no reply.
