Has anybody checked out the new processing time for all applications?. Surprisingly it changed to 18 months for all VOs how cn that be possible?

Yes It changed to 18 months for all VO like 2 weeks ago. like 4 days after it went to 26 months, people started to complain here that they should write to PM, that 26months is unbelievable.2 days after it changed back to 18 months.People said that some1 in CIC is just playing with their minds.
I don't know whats going on really.WE Believed Dar would be the best solution to accelerate applications. but now it looks like , When Nairobi was taking care of this was taking short time than now.This process will be separating many families or causing devorces.
Any way we have nothing to do just to believe in God and wait.

I think every case is different. I have a friend who applied at the same time with me. his wife got a ppr email from Dar VO last week. the whole process took them only 7 months.
Maybe we are going to hear the same from someone on this forum in the next few days.

Longjourney have u tried to get GCM notes b4.?
Dar is really taking its time i hv been tring to compare it wit nairobi its really too slow.
Not even ppr for any member this week?

You are right Dar is taking longer than Nairobi, which we had thought would be the opposit.I remember in Nairobi some people with Good and easy cases use to get PPR in 5 months.maybe DAR has got a fewer staffs, who knows.By the way why some people get PPR from Dar and the visas is issued by Nairobi.does Dar depend on Nairobi as well?

I think after Dar has finalised wrkg on the file its sent bck to nairobi for ppr nd visa.

I still haven't heard anything yet. It's getting really fustrating and worrying. I don't know how much longer it will take.

Samjiee sorry about that.I know it is not easy.Why don't you order the notes to have an idea on how far they are.though some or many of their terms we can not understand them,but for sure it help a bit at least to know that they r doing something.

Sry lonely guy i think u shld jst redo medicals so that wen all goes thru they dont take more time asking for medicals.
Ours to expire feb nd no news yet bt i got an email from them saying our file is inprocess nd we shld be patient they will call incase they need anything.
Dares salaam is really tooo slow compared to nairobi

I see. but you can not do remedical before They ask you though. you wait until they instruct you to do it.also I heard that in some situations they have power to extend them for a short period.no choice just t be patient,one member here said that He wish some of visas officers fall in love with people in foreign countries and get to pass same way like us, to know how stressful is this process.

But for sure time will come and we shall hear a good news. this stressful situation will become a bad passed memory!!

Hopefully will both get that 6 months extension on meds..my hubbys expired in nov n also didn't hear anything about redo.
