Hey Guys,

It has been long since I last posted. I had been so busy for the last 3-4 months. The embassy asked my wife for some more documents which we sent in june. 3 weeks ago I was told that our application is in queue for review. Today my MP informed me that the review is complete and now the file is waiting for an officer to check her medical/police clearence. I really hope this is the last step because we have been waiting for more than 12 months now. If they ask for more documents, I will kill someone. Please pray for us. Does anyone know if this is indeed the last step and how long after we send new medical should we expect ppr ? I wish I had better news for you guys. It has been long since someone in the forum got ppr. InshaAllah soon.

hey mickey and those who haven't received the RQ yet, i'm thinking maybe in 2011 they stopped sending RQ, it's not normal that we haven't received it yet...so maybe they changed the procedure.

yes my situation is the same, i only had the client number as well, but one day i emailed them to ask a random question and they replied and my wife's file number was in the email, it starts with B xxx xxx xxx, so dont worry if you email them you will get your immigration file number

Thank you! After being separate for 14 months from my wife, I will always remain mazloom. Besides there are many other situations that are not relevant to this subject.
