I don't think that it's a good idea, you don't want to send your passport and you don't know when you will receive it.

We still need 12 PPR this month to equilibrate

No, I don't think its a good idea either. I guess the embassy will not take responsibility for the documents they haven't asked for, your passport might get lost. If they wanted your passport right now they would have asked you for it. So be patient my friend and ishalla you'll be hearing great news very soon

I calculated the average of month to get the PPR after starting process in Damascus. (I tooke the last 19 PPR in the table)

The average is 7.6 month​

No not yet, my wife's medical will expire next week, I think they will request it next week from her.

I think they do not ask for updated documents unless they want to issue visa and then realize that some documents are expired. If I were you, I would take a new medical exam and police certificate because it takes about 6 weeks to get these documents, translate them and Damascus receives it.

Salam Sohrab jaan, good seeing you back, indeed keeping it positive always helps. Thank you all for the updates and the useful words.

I think after our wives/husbands get here we will be all qualified to work in the immigration office as we will be very knowledgeable.

I understand the Canadian embassy is very busy even taking care of the Australian visas. But, hey even in Iran, with their harsh immigration policies if a none Iranian woman marries an Iranian man she automatically becomes an Iranian citizen. And they process her National Card, Shenasnameh, and Passport within a few months.

Anyhow, I guess there are rules and regulations in place for a reason.

hi eveybody.you know as usual I was thinking about the painful process we are all in ,I have been to damascus for my interview,you know what it is not a big office I was just thinking how many officers can be working in that place and are they working on all kind of immigration process including skill workers,sponsorships , investment and also parts of the assessment of quebec skill workers are done in that office!
apart from that,damascus is responsible for assessing documents of 5 countries.maybe it is the reason for their slow work. :'(

whatever the reason is,I am so impatient,at least they could not set the funny rule that we can not stay by our spouses side till the process ends!
