Are you sure about this, how will the DHL person know which passport to pickup, will they give you a specific number that you have to tell DHL about.
Can any one els confirm please, this is urgent, he only have 7 days to send his passport.

Yes i'm sure, my husband recently went through this exact process to get his ppr. In the email that they send you when your passport is ready they tell you to give dhl your file number, which is necessary in order for them to release the passport to them. They also send all the proof of relationship and everything you sent them in your file to you with the passport, a long with a few papers with info about going to Canada and the like.

this is a very good news for everyone. it's good news for files in progress in damascus because it will offload some tasks so the officers can focus on the current load.

it's good for you and new applicants like me because the ottawa office has a reputation to process cases much faster.

here is an example re a skilled worker class applicant whose case was transferred from london to ottawa:
