Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

My application is in process in Damascus for exactly 9 months and they requested additional documents from us last month and they received them by DHL on June 5th and till today I haven't heard back from them.
So all you have to do is wait and be patient

we are in the same time frame my friend ,inshala kher, ill try to be patient,or i can be patient till july 7 !

its weird how some peoples applications were recieved in damascus before someone elses, but that other persons applications whos was recieved about a month or two months after got the visa first. i guess they arent processing it by date..i do not understand this system..i cant stay in lebanon anymore, i need to go back to canada and work full time but i dont want to leave my husband..oh how difficult life is..

man what kind of docs they requested, im just asking to see if it is a common thing that aftr 8 months processing they havea generic requirements , pick and choose people to send extra docs assring the relation ship with their husbandd/wife,

They requested my T4 papers, lease contract, pay stubs, and bank statements with credit card statements and any thing that prove that I am living in Canada.

Vivi2 - this is soo crazy! I was reading through some old post and saw that you had written about leaving your husband a few days after getting married! That is also what happened to us! We got married and my husband flew to Iran the next day and now I haven't seen him for 7 months It's so hard to be newlywed without my husband!! But fingers crossed hopefully SOON they will join us in Canada (They better be here by our anniversaries LOL!)

Hey,
Anyone heard about CAIPS notes?
That's interesting! I like it!
It proves that the visa offices can't delay the files for no special reason! If some are done in 5 months and some others in a year, it can't be because some officers work more and some don't! Because people can anytime order these notes to check what's going on in their file and I'm sure the visa office can't send out something saying that ok sorry we haven't been working on your file for 3 months!
