Hello everyone,

My wife finally got her visa and she will fly to Canada in 10 days.
We learned something that might be useful, mainly for Iranian friends (we learned it too late to use it).

Once you got your PPR, hopefully soon, instead of flying to Damascus, you can find one of tour operators and a tour leader, ask if he/she would be willing to take your passport to the embassy on your behalf.

this will save you both time and money. Of course, you need to find a trust worthy person. once done, you can pay $100-$200 for that which is way cheaper than flight+hotel for your loved one.

hope this comes handy for you.

Cheers.

the interesting thing is, so many iranians are making the trip to syria that the embassy in tehran is jobless lol, i think ill tell my wife to go with the old school embassy way rather than all the costs of traveling, she can save that money and go shopping in Montreal when she arrives :D

Thanks nagz2207 and sohrab919 for your reply.

and sohrab919 can you please add me to the list, thanks.

wardeh, ENGLISH! lol but yeah whatever you said i say the same thing, everyone needs ppr for someone right :D , dont worry guys stay positive

Dear Sohrab,
Please try yourself to be fair, I'm NOT THE ONLY ONE HERE who speaks Non- English language in their posts.
sometimes when you post a reply I can see some Persian sentences , and other people also do speak Persian in most of their posts, so please if you want me not to speak Arabic in my posts , start with yourself and don't speak Persian but don't come to me and tell me ( English Wardeh !!!) when you still speak Persian in your posts.

hope I made myself clear.
thanks

nice! thanks dear nagz :-*
so i guess what wardeh said "yallah Damascus menshaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan Allah er7amoona" would mean: "come on damascus, god be merciful to us"! right? ;)

yes vivi, you are 100% right , this is what I said in Arabic.
just wanted to let you know that when we write Arabic in an English way using some digits, it's not the correct way to write Arabic but it is just an easier way to chat with friends or write in some forums.
so these digits that you see does not exist in Arabic at all, they were made up in order to be able to pronounce some letters in Arabic that we cannot express in English language.
2= أ
3= ع
'3= غ
5=خ
6= ط
7= ح
'7= خ

i was just joking but ok , i didnt think you would get mad, maybe you didnt see the LOL, but anyways , and besides i never speak persian without translating right away, i say a few words in farsi, followed by the translation of it, so i am not speaking persian.... i never said anything in persian that left people WONDERING what i said, the translation was the next sentence :D, you can be sure i never say anything to anyone if i do it myself
