hey everyone, just joined this forum and have been reading every post. i wanna say its a lot of relief, i thought i was the only one going through all this pain, its been 10 months my wife and i are going through this.
i just wanna thank whomever is contributing & wish everyone the best of luck. u learn how to become so patient...i really hope the situation in damascus doesnt impact the embassy work and im sick of hearing rumors about the embassy prioritizing refugee applications and honestly, its unfair to put us out of the picture at this point, it's inhumane to separate us from our loved ones...really counting on getting the ppr soon, i cannot wait anymore....

dear danny, welcome , dont worry there is no such thing as prioritizing , i personally work for the immigration canada and trust me my friend, i am as worried as you are, but the embassy in syria is working as usual, it hasnt changed at all, they are offering emergency help for canadians in danger but the protocol hasnt changed so thank god , for now its normal , we all hope it stays like this

Guys,

Today I was thinking it is REALLY nice to have cool friends like you in such a virtual world.

It's cool, It's cool, and It's cool.

without communicating with all you it was really hard to resist the pain.

Happy mother's day

no problem my dear friend, we have to support each other, we are all in the same situation, i know it doesnt change anything but, atleast when we share our thoughts and ideas it helps to be a bit more patient, at the end of the day we are all looking towards that light ...... the light of being reunited with our beloveds !

dear friends,

I just posted a question , i think nobody is here doesn't have any idea about that ,i wanna share it again.
I hope some of old friends here join us again and answer me.

who can help me with this matter,
when i'm checkin by e-case the status of my case it shows in process and it says we start processing your case since 27th of july ,
i send an e-mail 2 months a go to embassy for checking the processing time of my case and they answered me that they recived my case 13th of july and told me wait for processing time on the website, on the website, about the processing times they explain this duration start the date that we recived your application.
I see in this forum ,on the table, you count processing times from the date they start process,
now i want to know if i wouldn't get ppr e-mail from the embassy until this thursday (10 months after they recieved the case),should i sent them an enquiry or wait until 27th of may?
does any body sent them an enquiry after finished processing times?

tanx my friends

Dear Sarah,
the counter starts to count when they receive your file.

even in some e-mails that I got through my MP, it was mentioned specifically the time they receive the file.

I recommend you to go ahead with the enquiry ....

Thank u so much mohammad ,
i will send them this friday or saturday ,and waiting for their robatic e-mail ,i hope their response will be diffirenet this time .
i's so tired of getting this kind of response ,your case is in que for review or an officer reviewing it ,,,,,,

khahesh mikonam aziz, by the way i forgot to say DAMET garm haha i love your positive attitude, thats how we should all look at things, honestly its the only thing we have, obviouslyi cant imagine the pain you guys are going through waiting 6 7 8 9 months or more but all i know is that you didnt do anything to make it last that long and you cant do anything to make it go faster.... so why go crazy and stress our selves out! THE BEST OF LUCK TO US ALL

LOL! Thanks Sohrab jan. :) Well me and my husband's application has only been in Damascus for one month, we even haven't received any news regarding they have started processing it, so if I get stressed out from now I will die in months 7 or 8! LOL!
I totally agree with you that why get worried and stressed out when there's nothing we can do about it :) So all of us should just stay positive and believe that we will be with our loved ones very soon, we just have to believe. :)

the situation in syria cannot affect the porcess cause the embassy is open and the crisis is a national issue and usually canadian government dose not interfer in other nations issue. in the worst case they will transfer our files to our own capitals or to a less busier office

Yes be positive and trust in Allah then every thing will work out inshallah!
