Hi every one,
This is Yalda and I have been a silent reader for a while. My husband applied for sponsorship on September 17th 2012, on October 24th the application was sent to Ankara and on January 17th it went to in process and amazingly just today morning we received the ppr letter although because of my husband`s medical situation I`m here in Toronto since October on a visitor visa but fortunately the decision was made sooner than we thought, now i have to send the passport and photos by mail to Ankara. Just wanted to let you know that they are working hard on the sponsorship applications so be hopeful my friends, the pprs are all on their ways very soon inshalla

thank you all so very muchhh guyssss..you guys have always been extremely nice to me..again and again thank you....but as far as the police 10 goes what is that? i have never lived in iran and i dont know what police 10 means if any of you could please clarify that for me...again thunx and good luck to you all...

The Police +10 office is the official authorized office where an Iranian applies for passport, driving licence, background check, etc. there is always at least one in any urban district. My wife's passport renewal took about a week in Sept. 2012. So it is usually very fast and easy if nothing happens in postal service. As I know and someone has mentioned here, there is a possibility to renew it even in 24 hours. Dont worry Kazhal

hey guysss...so we finally got the golden email..after 2 and 9 days......i dont know if i should be happy or sad...my husbands passport will expire within 2 month i dont know if we can go and get and get to canada bfr this expiry date and if airlines would would issue him tickets...anyone have any experience in this regard...can someone please help me out!!

wwwooow , congrads amilllllion to you and your hubby Kazhal. at last . u should be happy 4 sure, you'll forget everything by the time yr hubby is on yr side . I'd say email the embassy right now about the situation , also I know he could go to the passport office in Shahr ara , Tehran and ask for a new passport being granted in less than a week I guess , considering he has a good reason.

so it mean 16 month right after my sponsorship got approved? or you can calculate from other way my file i think pass to ankara sometime on april 2012.
