Anyone?Erina said:Hi,
I'm not sure which page(s) from 3911E Family Class Sponsorship form should an Iranian applicant include in his/ her application.
To me it appears we only need to fill pages 12 to 15 along with document checklist ( page 2 to 7 ). Also do we need to fill residency questionnaire included in this package? Or are they for Abu Dhabi and Islamabad applicants only? (on top of these residency pages it's marked Embassy of Canada in Islamabad as well as Abu Dhabi).
Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks.
They asked for interview because they have concerns my husband might be using me for getting a visa. I agree our couple is very odd (read my older posts, I've already explained the situation a few times) and that, on paper, everything is playing against us, but reality is not always as it seems to be. Therefore I knew he would be required to go for an interview, but I've never expected it to be conducted the way it was. We arrived 30 minutes earlier, the visa officer was more than one hour late. My husband is shy and doesn't master Turkish and English enough to expand on anything (his mother tongue is Language 1, he studied in school in Language 2 and English (Language 3), lived most of his life in a country where official languages are Language 4 and Language 5, is now living in Turkey (Language 6), and is now learning French (Language 7)), so he gave the VO very short answers. Of course, he was also terribly stressed.sharif62 said:Dear Guzelyol, what did they ask u in interview and what was the reason that u were asked for interview, would u please explain what happened in visa office during your interview?
thank u
that seems like a lot of stress, best of luck to both of you.Güzelyol said:They asked for interview because they have concerns my husband might be using me for getting a visa. My husband is shy and doesn't master Turkish and English enough to expand on anything (his mother tongue is Turkmen, he studied in school in Urdu and English, lived most of his life in a country where official languages are Pashto and Dari, and now lives in Turkey... give him a break!), so he gave her short answers. He was also terribly stressed.
The questions the VO asked him were the usual ones. I was not in the interview room with him, but from what he told me afterwards, he was not asked anything unusual, except this insulting "Why did you marry an older woman?" Woah! I'm just 9 years older than him! Also, I can't imagine a visa officer asking the same question if the husband was 9 years older than the wife, so please give us a break! Since I went with him, I've been also asked a few questions so that the VO could confirm my husband knows important facts about my life.
And now, the stressful waiting continues...
