Question to all. I ordered my second set of GCMS notes, the first time I applied for them, I got a confirmation saying that they received my request...the second time (sent December 22,2012)- 24 days ago...I'm a bit worried because I didn't get a confirmation this time..Do they always send an email saying they received the application every time ? Thanks in advance.

I hope yours never ever takes that long but you should wait like me to know how painful is unfairness.
Dude, I applied for my wife in 12 January 2012 for the first time. Since then I was with her only for 2 months, and now it is 8 consecutive months i have not seen her. So I know how waiting might taste.

akhaavi i am ahead of you and i totally understand the secession but what can we do? i am really thinking to take some serious action. as a Canadian citizen we have a right to ask them why there is no line up? our life is becoming a nightmare.....
however i don't mean to be mean i am really happy for all other people who already got their PPR and i am wishing them a very good time.

dont stree urself over it guys trust me on this one stress will only make u go insane, if u read my previouse comments and notes on the previouse pages ull know how stressed i was back in the day too and it didnt solve anything and im sure u all know that already... inshallah ur time will come soon, and yes there is no line up or anything like that,it all depends on the case and the officer working on it....for most of us since our files were transfered from damacus to ankara played a role in lengthening the processing time but inshallah youll all get it soon..good luck to you both and to everyone else...congratz to who ever got ppr in the past and to those that will get it soon...we all deserve it

I've already told it in the Persian forum:
1- We usually, think much about the time we first applied and filed our cases. The point is at this point it does not matter. The only thing that may seem significant to the visa officer in Ankara is your in-process time. In-process time is when the file has been passed to the officer and he/she will be assessed since then. Even the transfer time to Ankara is not important for the officer; it's not his business.
2- Now, it seems that those of us whose file process began back in July and August, are in the short line to get their PPR. If your process started before these months, you should assume a delay while I actually do not know what you can do about it. If you were so lucky to get the PPR while your process initiated after August, 2012, go and enjoy it.

akhavi i know you are saying i understand nothing i can do but at least i can empty my heart.
but for your case this is very very unusual for me nothing i can do because it is already 14 month but if mine take more than 16 month i will take some action with these stupid people .

most of 2011 people are in july in process.
i am really hoping they are doing it fast for every one .

I used to think this way as well that's why I created a column for # of days since in process on the spreadsheet. But my own case is proving even the "in process" time is not reliable.
The problem with Ankara VO is that they do not send AOR when they receive the application.
It seems that they DO work on the applications before changing the status to "in process" ... Erina's case is one example. She was requested for more documents even tho her status is still "App received"!
Now if you look at the apps that were forwarded to Ankara after mid-Oct they have all been stuck in App received status even tho more than 75 days have passed!
Thus I believe the more reliable date to keep in mind is the day that you have been approved as sponsor which is essentially the time Ankara received ur app

also they don't always give out PPRs in the order of "in process" dates.
on the chart look at user "atise" who received PPR a few weeks ago... her file change to "in process" in September!!!!
