Hi there, haj mehdi said:guys one question

tanha chizi ke i have noticed is that all the females are getting the ppr's so far... none of the males are getting pprs :-s inshala thats not the case...
I was wondering the same, but thought it's better not tho send them anything unless required. If I'm not mistaken, they don't have doubts about your relationship, but wonder if you truly fit in the conjugal partner category. More evidence of your relationship will not change anything.Erina said:Hihi another question: is this ok to send additional documents voluntarily to Ankara ? I have a lot more evidence of our relationship now than what I sent in my initial application. Does anybody know if we can just send them without them asking for it? Thanksss
Erina said:Funny, this is what my lawyer got after asking them whether they reviewed our new document or not:
We do not respond if we are within our processing times - which are now 16 months for spouse applications.
Please wait to hear from us.

Medical was on November 20, 2011.
They received my wife's application for permanent residence on December 14, 2011.
They sent me a letter on February 20, 2012 about the decision on my application(sponsorship). they sent my application to Ankara.
They started processing my wife's application on March 7, 2012.
And now, I received Request for Submission of Passport letter on January 10, 2013.

Yeah, they're probably happy the waiting time went from 5 to 16 months, they can torture us more!Erina said:they basically mean don't ever ask for any inquiry unless you've passed 16 months. What is this? torture house?

Actually, they shouldn't rely on the waiting times for deciding when we can make an inquiry or not. Even though delays vary from one VO to the other, CIC says 80% of spousal cases should be completed within 12 months (and this includes step 1). So basically, a year after the date they receive a full package, they are getting late! It's too easy for them to tell us to wait for 16 months after the file was transferred to the VO before complaining.Erina said:they basically mean don't ever ask for any inquiry unless you've passed 16 months.
