Good news indeed
I believe their file was kept in canada longer than the stage one processing time
The sponsor had a pr status so it coulve been due to that
Im just glad they are issuing pprs
Maybe we will hear some good news in the upcoming month

let's hope for that ,, we still have December. but i think they were so lucky to get ppr after only about 3months of processing in Ankara! i'm getting a bit jealous again, lool but why permanent residents r luckier than citizens?! :-\

im not sure why they were processed so quickly...its just the way things worked out...but keep in mind they were a couple of months over the processing time in canada:)...lets just be hopeful...

Hello everyone :)
I am new to the forum. I applied to sponsor my husband on July 17.
I got my first step approval on August 23.
My status changed to "In Process" on November 22.

I have a couple of questions:

1- I saw in previous posts that you guys are talking about receiving some "Notes". Where do you get these notes from? Is there an application I need to fill out? Do I need to wait a certain amount of time before I request this?

2- When I sent my application, I was looking for a job and I was still living with my parents. Now I have a job and I moved to another city in Canada. Somebody was telling me that if I inform CIC of my change of situation, and the fact that I am living alone and tell them that I am so lonely here (Which is really true), they would process my application faster. Do you thing this is correct? I am afraid that if I inform them of this change it delays the process of my application because there was a change! What do you think?

I appreciate your help and comments on this :) :)

Thanks you!

1st of all welcome 2 this forum. answer 2 ur 1st Q its totally up 2 u if u wanna apply 4 the note but trust me my friend u just applied 4 ur spouse only few month ago u don't get updated info. if i was u i would wait 4 couple of more month then apply 4 this note.
ur 2nd Q the only time u hafta inform the CIC about ur situation is when ur email address or mailing address changes that would affect ur application . they have sooo many applications that they don't care if u say im lonely or not. that is my personal opinion but again ur free 2 tell them whatever u want.

Thanks nelly.
I noticed that my app was approved faster than usual. I wasn't expecting it at all when I received the email on August. I was really surprised myself!

How useful are these notes anyway?

BTW nelly, have u got the "In Process" status yet?

I will wait then. I want to get something useful out of it....
How can these notes help?

I have another question.

I was dating my husband for 9 years before we got married. Therefore, I had so many emails/text messages/record of calls to send ass proof of relationship. I sent text message back to 2007! Yahoo Messenger chants back to 2010 and emails back to 2009. But all of them are in Pingilish (Persian written with English characters)! I didn't want to translate all those to English!!

Is it bad that I did not translate them?
