A friend of mine whos aunt is an immigration lawyer..told me that one of her aunts clients who had applied in March this year...their file was transferred to Ankara in Sep and they received their PPR today....so here is hoping...some glimpse of hope you guys

and it was a male who was sponsored had he also had military service sooooooooooooo lets see!!!

but how come their file had transferred to Ankara in Sep? isn't it a bit late if it was directly transferred to Ankara? it means it took about 5months for his wife to get the step1 approval??! weird!! wasn't it on hold for sometime? does anyone know what date has Ankara started receiving Iranians files?

As know from beginning of 2012 they started to send them directly to Ankara
Can I ask you if your status has changed to inprocess yet??

mine has changed to in process since july 30. and they received it on july 10.
but i remember when i was getting married in early 2012 they hadn't announced they were sending the files to Ankara officially. cuz we applied on May 30 n it was directly sent to Ankara. but ppl who have applied in Jan or Feb n maybe Mar experienced a delay on their file transfer n their file hadn't transferred to Damascus as well.

I believe their file was kept in canada longer than the stage one processing time
The sponsor had a pr status so it coulve been due to that
Im just glad they are issuing pprs
Maybe we will hear some good news in the upcoming month

They officially announced ankara vo office at the end of january...so i doubt anyone who applied in the new year had any complications due to their file being in limbo

No. I think I won't do it until end of January. Im slowly getting hopefull lol. I think if they wanted to refuse us they would have done so by now... Or maybe not. Maybe they have nt even read our letter...
