you should definitely pay it ASAP...as mentioned it can prolong the already looooooooooong process....i paid all the fees at the time of sending in the forms...

I asked my husband & he said the amount was $1040.00 CAD in total...
$550 = 475 + 75 (application fee)
$490 (landing fee)
Total = $1040

i think i paid $490 for Right of Permanent Residence Fee and $75 for Sponsorship application (per application) and $475 for Principal applicant. so overall i paid $1040.

I am the sponsor and I am in Iran right now, and I haven't paid the 490$ so how can I pay it from Iran? can I use credit cards?

I had my bro pay the RPRF online using his credit card , then filled the receipt and faxed it to Ankara, and I emailed the receipt as well .

your welcome and no, I'm the sponsor living in Iran with my wife and daughter . you could just email the attached receipt file from anywhere but I' m not sure if you could your visa card to pay it from Iran. If I were u I would try the online method and if it doesn't go through then have someone in Canada pay it for you like I did.
