I am new here. I am sponsoring my wife who lives in Iran. Here is my timeline.:
Applied: 29 Nov. 2011
AOR: 24 Jan. 2012 by email stating the file would be sent to Damascus, but it was kept in Canada then was sent directly to Ankara in March.
Ecas updated to 'in process' on 19 July, 2012.
Can you please add me to the chart?

Dear Pezh, well I do not have an experience with hotels in Ankara so lets ask other friends who had received their visas to share their experience. I can remember that some friends went to a hotel which had FARABI in its name and it was fine.
But if you go to a travel agency they can arrange it all at your desired price!

I meant the sorting of entries; is it the filing day, start date of processing in Damascus/Ankara, in-process date, or a combination?

And pezh.... King hotel was FABULOUS to my husband! They had a special rate for those going to embassy. They have wifi and breakfast included. It is a 5/10 min walk to embassy!
