I hope my case would be same as you, but if not started it means we should wait for 3 month next, then goes to November.

i dont understand people who say the closure of the embassy in iran and the iranian embassy in ottawa has nothing to do with our files. The files are still and will still be processing in Ankara, but what if they shut down the airports in Iran? If a war starts between iran and western countries there will be no commercial flights flying out of Iran ! Today iran called canada a racist country and anti-iranian. Israel is preparing themseves for millitary action and in Iran all they talk about is Canada closing the embassies. I hope Canada is smart enough to think about our applications in Turkey and how our spouses will fly there if something happens. I dont mean to be negative or to scare anyone here in this forum , but i am getting really pissed off and sick an tired at the embassy in Turkey. I had to stop my wife from crying today when we were talking on the phone. She is worried and i am worried. We need to do something if we dont hear something soon. I am ready to fly to turkey and meet my wife there if we dont hear anything and wont leave without her Visa. Enough is enough !!!

it doesn't say how long it takes or how much more time i hafta wait. all i got from this notes is that they are waiting 4 the security screening. thats all i could understand but some might interpret it differently. i think honestly urs would be same as mine, im just guessing.

we all hope nothing will happen like that, BUT if something like WAR happens, I think we have more and more important issues than going to canada or elsewhere, the most important of all are our families here in Iran and our beloved ones !! so lets hope nothing happens and this will pass like closure of the other embassies in Iran...

yes... you are right kamelia. Of course Our families are more important, but that is also why i am worried. I hope you are right and this will pass like the other embassy closures in Iran.

Yes, it means you wife's medical is valid till Nov. 28th, 2012. Based on the new rule for the extension of medical results, they will only do the extension once the only thing holding the issuance of a visa is the medical resutls. This means if the applicant is still pending security checks and the medicals have been done more than 15 months ago, then they won't extend it.
