I think the updates come every 4 months ... since on CIC website it says quarterly update ...
So I'm thinking the next one will come in December

I agree....but i think the next update...it will go down considerably...

I'm also very hopeful that the processing time will go down ... It seems that Ankara is an organized VO and at this time they are under a lot of pressure and workload since Damascus and Iran works have been transferred to them. This update is the only update that will show the effect of this transfer because its the first update following the transfers. Judging from others' comments about their helpfulness and organization I am certain the processing time will go down in December since they will handle majority of Tehran and Damascus requests by then. Don't worry guys we'll be fine

I remember 3-4 cases who applied for student visa as well, and just one of them got the visa!

worst case scenario mehdi if they do ask for a redo of the medical it will maybe be a month or so...but in your case if they havent asked for it yet...the chances are you dont need to do it...
