Damascus/Spousal since Jan 2010 or late 2009

Hi,

I am done here, my wife got visa after 18 months waiting time in Damascus and Ankara.

Visa Officers are stupid and they do not have any standard .they open / work on files randomly.

In General, immigration people donot know what the he'll lthey are doing .

All sucks .

Damn Ankara and or imm people who wasted my time.

They didn't ask me any other document.Just the second medical.Yes most of july applicant got pr that's why I'm worried...

Did they ask you to redo the medical or you just did it?

They sent me an email requesting to undergo furthur medical

So dun worry it s all fine. When they ask for an update like new medical it might add a couple of months but you can be pretty sure that your application is in the very final phase and hopefully you & Bahar are the next to receive PPR! Fingers crossed!

It took them exactly 21 months from the beginning till the end! (18 months and 7 days after being approved) :-[

I don't know but I don't think so.

It's odd that they didn't ask me to redo the medical.
I think it really depends on the officer who works on our ecas.

Bahpar!!! You must have met my husband today! He was also there getting his visa too I was just coming on here to let everyone know that my husband said the embassy was extremely busy with visit/study visa and only a few family class. As soon as summer passes it will rain PPR for all of you. My husband will be here tomorrow. We and our kids are beyond excited to finally put this behind us. I am still praying for all of you and I know good news will come for you soon. thank you for all the support throughout our way and good luck!

from what you said they extend your medical and that good news for me , my second medical has expired on last july , they did not send me any email to do it for the third time , so I hope they asked france to make extend ??? ??? :

Yes, they sent an email that requested all of them.
and after they requested and I delivered to them, in 22 aug "application received" changed to " IN PROCESS" !!!???
It (e-case) shows, case by case may have different way to processing and it is not fair!

The forum does not let me to send private messages. I dont know the details of your situation but if you are Canadian citizen then you only need to show them you go back to Canada once your spouse's file is finalized. You can show that by work contract or the residence permit in the country you live in currently expires by then or something like that. But you should have informed them once you left Canada. If you are PR then you have hard time but not impossible, depending on your circumstances.

This is what I did. I inform them voluntarily that I left Canada and for me was easy to prove that I go back as I have a temporary contract for my international assignment and my Canadian employer has to give me job once I'm done here. We had another issue too but because I was honest and open from beginning they where willing to help us out. I was also knew that worst case scenario is to withdraw the application, and even though it could cause us lots of trouble but I was willing to do that as I am against giving false info in applications.

No interview but a phone conversation. We received second medical request 1.5 month after sending docs. As soon as medical was received they send us PPR.

Dear Friends, AS I talked to doctor, he said : " we recommand to wait till receive the email for extend of medical but if you want to do , you can and we will do for you", he put that responsibility on our shoulders. , I do not know what should i DO?
