for those of you who have been required to undergo a second medical test....could you please let me know...how long after ur status changed to inprocess did they send you the email asking you to redo the medical?

also in regards to sending in missing docs and more information...how long after in process did you recieve the email? thank you

our medical expired at the end of july...so im just contemplating as to when to redo it or if we need to?

My wife file changed to "in process" same day as they send the 2nd med request.

If you can not go to canada soon after PPR then better to redo medicals if you are already in process and expecting PPR soon. Review the link I sent in previous postings.

did they contact you via email? also for ppr? i am anxiously waiting...although i think i still have a few months to go to get ppr

also i was pondering this a few days ago...for those who have gained a pr through spousal sponsorship...is it necessary to undergo a canadian marriage? ie. register your marriage through city hall? or is the marital status automatically updated with canada revenue agency? ie. for taxation issues

also i was browsing through some other forums...people have mentioned recieving AOR emails from their vo offices...has anyone here recieved anything from ankara? or even damascus?

No need to do another marriage. Your iranian registration is valid. Canada revenue will know about your status once your spouse file for taxes as married person and claim credit for spouse. BTW he/she could claim that credit and file as married from the first year you got married even though you are not in Canada. so he could pay less tax.

Dear Mashti, I talked to my accountant , he said if your wife is not in canada, you can not apply as married for tax credit ! when she came then you can apply!

thats right, all we can get is just a bit extra gst which is in my opinion not that significant

BTW mediGol, i think i'll wait 4 next 3 month and if the VO doesn't email my wife about requesting her medical during this 3 months, then i ask her 2 renew it.

i wish i get it asp, but again when i looked at pdf file related to the medical that mashti posted, it says it's valid for 15 months, that's why im like lets wait for another 3 month and c how it goes, to be honest with u i'm confused if i do it or not. and the bad thing is Ankara VO doesn't reply to our question about the medical easily.

mehdiGol, based on the chart and our friends who got ppr, when do you think our turn comes?

Hbahmane, I analyzed the chart , In my idea the Bahar is the next one, simintunasly , we should get or allitle bit later, if there is no serious thing happen and God helps , we should get in the Septemeber early, but may be next week, You know there is nobody in chart except Bahar and Kazhal. You look the chart and let me know your idea.

Also we should know that ,some body are waiting but we do not know them, but in my curve analysis it shows that for security check it should take 2-3 months , then, if we get 2 month and 15 days , then early september we should receive that, simply you can analyze the chart there are two columns , work on in process columns, different between the PPR and In process is the security check , but remember this rules happen only for files that trasfered directly to Ankara, because in other case may be security started from Damascuc, But My heart, says we will get it soon, I mean very soon, however God Knows what will happen.
Also another factor is hidden, how many persons applied on september, if you review the chart , we are only applied on septemeber, then our analysis is aliitle tricky because may be mor epeople applied but is not in the forum. But keep in touch till more analysis appear.

Also note that if they asked some documents , this rule is not working and other factor comes up, but for those cases that in process and receive PPR should work, Also the last date that received the PPR ( WAS IN PROCESS 13 JUNE) , then till 13 June they already processed(80 percent), again Kazhal and bahar are the next then should be our turn.I hope my prediction comes true , let see and ask God to help in this situation.
