but would the immigration people do it? but it says if the result is pending just due to the medical exam...
btw have u tried writing to ankara regarding your file? or do u know of anyone else who has? do they respond back? i tried calling them and the system just hangs up on me)

i personally haven't sent any email because i still have time. those whose medical expired or because of changing address and etc they communicate with the embassy via email or few people that i know phoned the embassy and were able 2 talk 2 them. but as i said i never done it.

My advice to you: DON'T call them or write to them unless there is a change of information regarding your file. My understanding is that by calling Ankara or sending email to them asking for info regarding your file unless your file is way over and above the estimated processing time by their website, makes the progress of your file lengthier (who knows why!). I'm sure more senior members would correct me, if I am wrong.

ur right cuz as i said those who do email or call are among people who really have serious issues but someone like me or u have 2 wait and wait. don't worry nilu we all finally get the ppr

Guys, don't get disappointed. I am sure Anakara is doing a great job. They are probably still issuing PPR. It's just that the lucky people happen to not participate in this forum and that's why we don't from them. A+M, Vivi, Kazhal, I so badly want you guys to be the next people receiving PPR. well i was just looking at the time line for applications...it seems that everyone has been going through the process for at least a year...i just feel really discouraged right now...nemdoonam... but at least it feels good that i am not alone

Thank you laleh_d we've had an emotional week! From devastated to learn that Ankara wanted an RCMP fingerprint check which can only be submitted with ink outside of Canada and takes 6-8 months to even receive the check to give to Ankara.... To now finding a company that will convert ink to digital and the check will be done in 3 business days avoided a HUGE delay!! Will be able to submit all documents they asked for within a few weeks
