The applicantreceives PassPort Request by email. Even if first informed by phone, the email is sent afterwards!

hey guyss!...no ppr today too??? has there been any golden emails out this month at all??? i kinda dont remember..
any who whats the diff between background checks and police clearance??? i saw a post by someone new asking about that too...is it the same as the police clearance..if the background checks rnt done do one have to redo police clearance check or what..im planing on ordering my CAPIS ..should i???...take care guys..

As soon as the application goes to the local visa office such as Ankara, they are only in contact with the applicant, which will be your wife in Tehran.
The only letter that comes to the sponsor is the sponsor approval letter from Mississauga, after that all correspondence will be with your wife.

Two weeks ago we had 4 or 5 PPRs in one day but now nothing for 2 whole weeks I think they started summer holidays early. I personally don't expect to hear anything until September now. I just ordered my CAIPS (Now GCMS) notes. I ordered them back in March and everything said "not started". Hoping they've managed to start something in the last 3 months. Have you ever ordered yours? It's a cheap way to get a little info on your file.... Let's you know if they've started anything or not anyway....

The forms are on the CIC website. Here's the link on how to make a request:

You fill out IMM 5563 (access to information and personal information request)
and IMM 5475 (authority to release personal information to a designated individual) this second form needs to be signed by the applicant to give permission for you to order the notes. The link explains everything you need to do. You will basically have both forms filled out, a cheque or a receipt from online (it cost $5) payment and proof of the requesters Canadian citizenship or PR status, and mail it all to:

K1A 1L1

(they don't list this address anymore but thankfully Vivi had it handy for me

When you fill out forms make sure to check off ordering electronic files NOT physical file as it will affect processing times if you ask for physical file. Hope that helps

in this morning they called me... the lady asked me " did you get an email to re do your medical? I was shocked and I said yes since long time and it will expire on first of august!!! then she said ok ... I asked that's it? I am waiting this call phone since long time......
she siad yes"
I have bellion question in my head .......... but I was shocked from the phone ........ I forgot all the questions

that what happened with me
can anyone tell me please what is that mean good signe or what they lost my file or some paper from the file

Hi alice, I have not ever heard about similar case to you, but usualy it's safer to redo medical exam 1 month prior to expiry date of previous one, because it takes one month or more till they receive the results. Hope it's useful to you.

Comma A+M, it's too soon for start of summer holidays, on the other hand, they dont sent off all the employees. We'll receive ppr in near future. Anyway we'd better to wait hopefuly. Wish all, the best.
