I know your question was directed to Sohrab, but my timeline is almost exactly like yours and a lady here whose name escaped me right now and what I am going through is very similar to yours, except that I am here in Iran for a little over a year. As you guessed it, I am keeping an eye on the progress of your file (at least what you report in this forum). I also had to change my telephone number, and I sent an email and of course the 25-day frame reply email and nothing else. I believe at some point you mentioned that your ecas showed "in process" which made me check my ecas almost everyday, to see something similar with no avail. No updates, no nothing. Since I am sponsoring my husband and I decided to move to Iran to be with him through the whole process, I think mine will take longer, since I've read some place that it is more complicated to do the background check of a man than a woman. Anyhoooot, like you, I am a silent reader here and hoping this process would be a speedy one for us, whose files were sent directly to Ankara ... and it sometimes drives me crazy to see some of people (in January 2012 thread) who filed with us, have already their partners in Canada ... well I think I am jealous a bit ... or envious ... NOT ...

Sorry to respond so late , I missed yr reply Imatra, Its good to have other people who are in the same time line as us, I 've been living in Iran for the past few years,
And I know what u feel when u c people in our time line that are done for sometime . That's why I never go back to the jan 2012 thread , makes me sick when I see indians get their PR in less than 5 months ( who mostly cheat the system ) .
Anyways as u see Rah was done in 3 months of processing , giving me the feeling that we are going to get our PPR 's within 6 months . hahah ( I know it's a lit bit too optimistic) but lets cross our fingers .

no. doctors have the forms and they fill themselves. she needs to have 4 pics, passport copy

Hello All,

I just found this Forum... it's quite helpful. I wish I knew about it sooner! Anyway, here is my situation:

Our application was received in Canada on Jan 2011. It was sent to Ankara office early 2012. About a month ago we were asked to do the medical test again (as the original one was expired). Now we are waiting... Does anyone know how much it should take after being asked for the second medical test?

First they called to tell my husband eberything is done , is he able to leave before medical expires or want to do the medical again. Because our medical expires soon. She gave my husband 24 hrs and called the next day. When the next day my husband said yes , the she said ok, i will email you the ppr. Then she emailed it
