the lawyer advised me to put Damascus as my immigration office
We are quite confused about oure case since we've applied on May 18, 2011

then the sponsorship application got approved on June 21, 2011.
in the sponsorship approval letter they've wrote
Due to the recent situation in Syria, your relative’s application will not be sent to the visa office in
Damascus at this time. Instead, their file has been temporarily diverted to the case processing office in Ottawa, Canada,

on the CIC online client application status they put
( We received XYZ's application for permanent residence on July 4, 2011. We started processing your application on July 28, 2011.)
then shortly after that they've changed it recently to
(We received SALAH EDIN HASAN's application for permanent residence on July 4, 2011.)!
Obviously they've removed the following part (We started processing your application on July 28, 2011.)
I find it fishy as if they wanna hide when they've started processing my permanent visa application

1- Please guys let me know any reasonable cause behind that action?
2- I'd like to know where is my application now?
3- what is the expected processing time?
4- Shall i let my wife in Vancouver contact her MP & will that make any difference?
5- What is our immigration office now Amman, Ankara or Abu Dhabi?

My wife just did her second medical at Day Hospital in Tehran. The stupid doctor (Mohammad Reza Ebrahimi-Rad) who apparently was extremely rude told her that it would take up to 4-6 months for the medical to process. Now she's depressed all over again =/

Can someone please tell me what email address we send the green sheet to and what info to include in the email? It has to be sent with the sponsored person's (my wife's) email address right?

Rowshan jan, The doctor was extremely nice when i went with my wife in feb.He has not idea about the process it takes.I didn;t send my green copy as per my MP and we got out ppr last week.

Maybe he's having one of those days but did you say you didn't email your green sheet to Ankara and they still gave you the PPR?

Also, did you redo your second medical exam before it was expired? Or did you redo it when Ankara sent you an email asking for it to be done?

that was my wife's doctor! bimarestan dey, and no it doesnt take that long, within 2 months its processed, its just that not all the time the visa offices ACKNOWLEDGE receiving it, send it to the ankara email, ankara-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca, you dont have to include anything, just scan it and email it, just note the file number and date of birth of your wife in the email, its better to send it from her email , but i sent it from both lol

I contact Ankara when we did my wifes second Medical and they said do not send anything to us.So contacted my MP when i was in Iran and his office said"

You can not send the medical into the office as they will not accept it. I would think that the doctor that did your wife's medical would have known that."

So I didn't but some of the people on this forum say it doesn't hurt to send an email with your medical,I didnt.

Ankara didn't send me an email I was kinda proactive I contacted my MP for him to see if my wife's medical had expired and it had so when I was in Iran I think we paid like 300 toman and re did her medical.Buddy be khanoomet begoo not to get depress in a few more months javab migiri.We did our second medical Feb 2 and got our ppr email May 16.Tell her what i told my wife when she would get upset ma ke 1 sal va sadim 2-3 mah digam roosh.

Probably yours transferred to Amman!
Average you have to expect 14 months for processing your file!
About changing the e-case, it is some thing normal and it happened to every during this process.
Connecting a MP will not change any thing.
You have to wait till you receive a news from VO.
If you have your file number you can send an email to Amman and see if your file is there or not. Or you can order yoour CAIPS notes too.

2- did you get a letter of file transferring to Ankara ?
3- your status on CIC web site has been changed when they processed your application ? or it stayed like before?
