khak b sare in representative. I asked him months ago about it expiring and he told me it's not necessary to redo the medical exam when they haven't asked for it.

Yep, that's why they all say! Representatives, MPs, lawyers, but the truth is everyone should do their medical when it's expired, NO ONE can land without a valid medical and a visa will not be issued without a valid medical. It's really better to re-do medicals and save at least 3-4 weeks time.
The good part is now you know that you are in the last stage, visa offices do not request for medicals until they are done with eligibility and most of background/security checks, medicals is always the last step and after a positive decision has been made on an application. :)

Am lucky because my MP has been great even when I was in Iran a few months ago my wife's medical expired, i emailed him and 48hrs later he told me to redo the medical and that was it.Reading all these issues of no help from your MPs is ridiculous and totally uncalled for.

:DHiiii everyone....

I miss you all....how's everyone doing. Just came back from Lebanon last week. I got ur msgs to go to the Embassy but I was late by 1.5 hrs. OMG what can I say...no hope whatsoever from the Embassy in Beirut. I flew all the way from Toronto to hear a stupid receptionist say I cannot say anything about ur file. Send an e-mail and we will advise you within 23 days. Its almost been a year with no word on what is going on with my file. I went 3 times to Lebnein w every time I go its like hell. I see my husband for 2 weeks and I come back empty handed. I dont know what is going on with the Beirut VO but after I checked the spreadsheet, it looks like we are in no luck.

Some ppl in Lebanon are saying its too hard nowadays, some ppl have been waiting for over 2 years and it looks like a never ending cycle of misery and heart breaking stories.

If anyone had heard someting, pls share with others. But really, Im not impressed at all with Beirut and the way they are handling this whole immigration.

When my wife re did her medical in Feb, my MP said it is going to be between 8-12 weeks by the time Ankara receives it from Paris.it took a little bit over 12 weeks.

The amount of time it takes for medicals to get processed in Paris and be sent to visa office is one thing, the amount of time after doing medicals and getting passport request is another thing.
Paris only takes 3-4 weeks to process the medicals. The visa office will not issue PPR until the applicant is "cleared", this could be one day after the visa office receives the medicals or it could be after 8 months, unpredictable!

I am assuming that medical atleast takes one month to get to Ankar. So my husband's medical will expire in July. So would you guys suggest that he does it in june so by the time first one expire the second one is ready. I was thinking that if we do it in July it will be valid for longer time. But I don't want to think that my process will take that long to require a third medical . What do u think?

My husband had the same problem. One dr told him he couldn't do it until Ankara (Damascus at the time) requested it. But the next dr. He went to did it. If you're in Tehran I can get the name of the dr from my husband. Good luck:)

my husband did his in tehran too and at the time we did not have any email request from any of the visa offices and they did it with no problem...go to see the doc, ibrahimirad at day general hospital give them a call and book an apt..im sure he'll do it no problem...good luckk

Day hospital is where my wife did her first medical and will be doing her second as well. Kind of expensive ($290) compared to other ones ($200) but they get the job done.

my husband paid way more than that for his second one...and i know as soon as they know its for an embassy the prices go up looolll
