Eee? My mistake. Sorry for saying something while not sure.

I have not received anything from any VO either, called CIC twice and they said ur file s not here, n they even did not know where it was transferred to.
As Siavash said, they are not to notify us, although Rah and some other friend here had received confirmation that theior file reached Ankara.
I believe we have to stay positive that our files are transferred and now resting in Ankara safe and sound till our turn.
I once told AliAria, in this process No News=Good News!

During the last couple of months that I'm posting in this forum I have seen different scenarios.
In some cases, the ppr was issued without any update in ecas.
In other cases, the ecas was updated and then the ppr was issued (some ppl received their ppr only 2 days after the update while others, including my friend Mona, waited for 8 weeks!)

My suggestion is not to benchmark. Comparison is the biggest mistake anyone can ever do when it comes to cic! There was a time I was trying to analyze what cic is doing but frankly couldn't find the logic behind it.

Whenever u could understand why an applicant receives the ppr in 7 months while another fellow should wait for 14 months (while nationality, gender, etc. are the same) then u probably will come up with an explanation about ecas updates too ;)

Hope that because mine is religious and till now I have doubts if it will take more processing time :(
Hi Anoushka
Kifik Don't worry about this matter coz at the end your official paper is a (e5raj aied 3aili) were it state that you're the wife of (foulen el fouleni) thats what matter and the marriage certificate is just to make sure you're married,,,and don't forget Canada is the most country in the world respect your personal freedom of choice (cancadian charter of rights and freedoms) you can google it and read it,
so i think if it religious or civil marriage does not make any differences.

hi Kurdistan-kazhal
today I did my 2nd medical ex in Baghdad ,this link below contain mobile number of Canada immigration health department in Iraq , just call them after 9 am (middle east time) and take appointment and should take 7personal pictures ,3colored copies of passport ,and other documents they will need it from applicant.
this the address of hospital :
Baghdad ,near Allawey park ,Ibin Al Beetar hospital for heart surgery
بغداد مقابل كراج العلاوي \مستشفى ابن البيطار لجراحة القلب
in the reception they must tell them (we took appointment for medical ex of Canada) and they will let them enter immediately, they allow the applicant to enter with only one relative ,no more.

Hi Joe,
Ana emni7a, how about you? Well my husband told me the same too and that's why we went for the religious marriage, but as you know everybody starts to tell you something and make the situation more confusing.
Usually I am more emotional than my husband, he is the one who supports me, and I have you guys too all who is in this forum thanks for supporting me and each other ...
You all deserve the best :)

Your card is cute hehehehe
Honestly after Kat-H's PPR I became more relaxed and after reading more posts in this forum I knew I am not the only one ...
;) ;) ;)

Guys and Gals I contacted CIC and before anything I told Pierre(CALL CENTER AGENT) I know you cant help me before we get started.Basically thats the answer i always get from the CIC agents so I proceed with my question about my online stats.Like most of you guys my online stats says application for PR card received. My wife has done her 2nd Medical and all.He told me its totally up to the Visa officer to update the online status, some do it and some don't.That is why my case still is at application received because my visa officer is too lazy as to what Pierre told me.Another interesting information I got from him that I didn't know was that the Visa Officers are not Canadian citizen, the only Canadian citizens at the embassy is the head person otherwise everyone else that works there are from the local country in my case he or she is Turkish. That is unbelievable that my case is in the hands of a none Canadian.
