since our friend friend tonyy shared that link, it reminded me to mention something, i met with minister kenney recently, actually our whole department did, he made a speech regarding he wants to speed up immigration , ESPECIALLY the skilled workers, i wanted to say something but they didnt allow me , it was a listen and i dont care what you think speech, so yeah, he's a joke, i think the entire immigration system is a joke right now , but we are stuck with it for another 4 years

DONT GET ME WRONG, this *********** ( i didnt swear, im the one who put the stars) doesnt have anything to do with our files, if i knew, even 1 % that this guy had anything to do with sponsorship i would be living in iran right now, he just came to power, he wants to show off but FORTUNATELY we are living on the previous law, dont get me wrong the previous law is garbage as well but atleast its better than this douche trying to change canada with his none sense, anyways, forget politics, good days are coming, i have officially decided i am going to quit my career as a CIC agent because of this guy....... maybe 5 years from now ill apply again but i dont agree with anything he says

Sohrab ,I want to thank you for your information,
I don't know who's my MP . please guide me .how can I contact with him,
thanks

There is a link on Huffingtonpost Canada that you can ask questions from the Minister of Immigration, and he answers them. i also spent some time and made the comments re spouse sponsorship favourite.

somebody wrote this nice comment:

"why do I have to wait 15 months to sponsor my wife? because of my nationality? because I am Iranian? that is racism! the only important thing in my life is my wife who cannot enter Canada because of what Bashar Asad is doing in Syria. it does not mean all the people from middle east are terrorist. You should let sponsered people enter Canada while their file is being processed. We all have the right to live with our spouse.
"

I added my comment underneath:

"can't agree more...

i have been waiting for 12 months to have my wife beside me. looks like nobody care about it. I'm paying 35% of my salary as tax. don't i deserve to have a life? just learned that they have not even touched my file. it was in sent to syria last year, now it is said to be sent to turkey, but no confirmation whatsoever. is it rocket engineering? can't you just increase the damned fee and employ more people?

here is my specific question for honourable minister. can you please consider to increase the spouse sponsorship fee from $500 to $5000 and process the files faster?"

Please participate in Huffington Post question and answer. The deadline is today, it only takes a few minutes and in return lets our voice to be heard.

E.g
1 minute ago ( 2:12 AM)
What is the logic behind legislating a law to separate newly-married couples for many months? Is it that hard to issue a temporary visa for the applicant to live with his spouse while his file is being processed? Why should we be deprived from the very basic right of any human, living with our spouse, for such a long time??

i'm on my way to the embassy ,, maybe i can get some answers !!! ya rabbb
