Hagh dari....Mage 1 dokhtar cheghad feshar mitoone tahamol kone? Just don't lose ur patience. I know it's too cliche to say that every cloud has a silver lining but it's true!!

Samira there is no written law that the worst case scenario will apply to ur file! It's just an automated email....wait till the first batch of pprs arrive, it will clarify many uncertainties.

Thanks Siavash. Hopefully we will get responses from Ankara way sooner than what we expected to :) You are actually two months ahead of me , my application was received in Damascus on July 4th! ;)

You guys will be asked for ppr soon. My friend had her application in Syria since Jan 18, 2011 and they asked for her husband's passport 4 weeks age. They have actually issued his visa in 21 days and he will be in Canada next week!

Ok , here is the news from ankara, they had 500 files before the closure of damascus , now they have 2600, average time for the 500 files is 3.5 months,
2100 files from syria..... 1.5 months to determine the status of the files... files over 12 months average processing 0.5 months, files < 12 months 1.5 months, Recipient consistency 80% ( they recieve files/emails and answer to them), protocol of response 50%(they might email you and say your file is here, they might not), Total average time before closure 3.9 months, after closure 7.5,
percentage of applicants = Azerbaijan 0.1 % Georgia 1 % Turkey 5 % Turkmenistan 1% Iran 79%
Total average delay = 4 weeks

I hope this helps my dear friends, i enclosed as much info as i could :D and let me be the first one to say HELLL YEAHHH it looks good :D

sohrab you don't know how upset i was today, you know one of those feeling down days, but you made me soooo happy and hopeful again, MERCIIIIIIII :)

Sohrab!?!!!!! My file was received by Damascus on July 4th which is about 7.5 months ago! Just to clarify.....Does that suppose to mean they will finalize the cases that they have already received from Syria in 1.5 months from now including my application?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is that right or I am being too excited that my brain is not functioning properly or what?!!!!!!!!!! ;)

trust me i know what you mean, i typed this 10 - 15 mins after i got the email, before that i was dancing to jalal hemmati loool, i was soooo happy , it just made me hopeful and happy, so yeah aziz it sounds A LOT better than i thought , i was expecting more, obviously the 25 days thing in their email is false, i knew that when i saw it, but i wish they would share this information to everyone, not just people who work for the government, its not fair, ok im here i can do this and make you guys feel good, but what about 1 2 3 years down the road, who is going to make those poor sponsors/spouses feel good? i dont know i guess its a policy, anyways, im glad i was able to bring a smile/dance/jumping to your life haha :D
