good morning/afternoon/ evening guys and gals

Do u guys know anyone in this forum who had a child before they file for the spousal sponsorship? does that make a difference ( i mean for the marriage being genuine ) ?
I am a CAN citizen, lived in Iran, Tehran for the past 5 years, got married in 2008 , we got a daughter ( 18 months old) who I applied for Canadian citizenship last year and received the Citizenship card last month ;
knowing my situation , would u guys think they'd ask my wife for an interview ?
I know its too early for me to worry about interview but my wife's English is not as u may say in anyways okay to communicate with IMM officer.

My agent has sent the applications to missisuga office on Dec 30,2011 .

hope u guys get your PR's even much sooooooner than sooon

Dear Mehdi,

nice to see you here.
I think that no one can predict that if an interview will be needed or not unless the visa officer. If you check our chart you will see the quantity of interviews were not so much. So you have to be patient and do not worry.

It's a long road ,though I 'm gonna try my best to live as best as I can with my family , forget all about the long process ahead , which I'm sure IS real hard thing to come about.
Ya allah

Vivi Jan,
My medical will expire on Feb 21st and I have no plans in redoing it! Whats all the rush about....I'll think about doing it without any notice from Damascus, if I don't hear anything from them by Feb 15.
I'll give my lawyer a call around Feb 15, asking for his advice. I understand that many ppl r doing this in advance to save time but yet I don't feel the urgency.

yeah my husband's opinion is exactly like yours! he says maybe we get ppr this week (lol in our dreams!) and we would still have 3 weeks time for landing so what's the rush! lol! siavash jan please keep me posted when you talk to your lawyer for advice regarding this, thanks :)

well lets say as Persians say" the sky is blue where ever you go" .
:-\

I'm just happy that we have an escaping point , and at the same time sad for all my friends and relatives in this messed up environment .

Good morning dear my friends...

so sorry for this news but i should say to all of my best friends..One of my friend's father had gone to embassy in Syria for requesting some ask questions in embassy ...HE was been as Iran's ambassador in GREECE in 2002... he has gone to Syria for private .... and then i could contact to him by his son ...HE asked of embassy Canada...what will you do with applications and are u gonna close embassy/? and then they replied him..

YES DEAR .... this news is not official and it is just reliable .THE EMBASSY WILL BECOME CLOSE END OF JANUARY AND ALL OF APPLICATIONS IN HERE WILL TRANSFER TO 3 COUNTRIES.

ANKARA , BEIRUT AND GORDON ..THIS IS truth news and be sure everything will be ok for us..

the embassy said to HIM..for this reason this month we could not finalize any application and we were so busy for transfering applications..

they said him , very soon they informed us by email , where has transfer our application? don't worry dear friends

Dear Faridzad

I'm pretty sure that if the application are divided into 3 portions, it would take less time for applicants in the beginning and mid stages,
hopefully the delay for finalized applications wouldn't be too long .I know It's really annoying to hear at the end point that things would come to a stand still for a period , I 'm sorry to hear that , and hope it is just another rumor spread by one of those confused receptionists.

all the best

Hello Guys,
I just called the Canadian Embassy in Syria, The same lady she doesn't know what is happening, she told me the immigration section is closed since 4 days ago and all files has been transferred to Lebanon as central processing center! So I asked her if she knows were would be my wife's file since she is Jordanian , she told me all files are in Lebanon. Then I called Lebanon no one is answering!! Then I called Canadian Embassy in Jordan and the receptionist told me I cant transfer you to Visa section, but I think the Jordanian files here but not sure!! This is really disturbing and confusing! they should send emails and letters ! :( its really hard and no one care :(
