Frankly, smiling is enough!
How I wish we could do something more useful than praying. Maybe we should start a petition to show our dissatisfaction to Damascus. I think they have to hear our voice and understand that our life is becoming bitter instead of better by the way they r working!!!!! They have to speed up the process.....oooooof I'm really frustrated at the moment since my wife is crying 24/7 and there is nothing that I can do About it!!

Hey girls!! Please be patient and trust me ur husbands r as worried as u r!

anyone knows when you apply for a visitor visa, does the embassy want your passport along with your application? I'm wondering, because it takes 90 days of processing visitor visa in Iran, so does that mean they keep your passport for 3 months?

Erina u have to give them ur passport along with other documents when u r applying for a visitor visa.
FYI, visitor visa processing time is increased to 120 days now. In other words, u will be without ur passport for 4 months and in the meantime the possibility of getting the visitor visa is too low!!

happy new year to everyone, wishing you all a great 2012, :D i guess the best gift would be for everyone to be reunited with their loved ones

and its officially 10 months that my file has been in damascus....... wow, although it was difficult it went by pretty fast, i hope its almost over

When did it change to 120 days??? The CIC website still says 90 days.... And yes Erina it says you have to send your passport in with the application so you would be without it for 3 months and hope that Syria doesn't contact you in the meantime to stamp your passport. This is why we decided not to apply.... too risky. however if you damascus has just received your application it might be worth a try... tough choice ???

Good morning!
A new day, new challenges and of course still hope every thing will change in a good way!
Oh Damascus! I have never thought that you can be so important for me and play such a mysterious role in my life! Do something! :-X Be some clear!
