I'm from the U.S., originally from the Soviet Union. I'm being sponsored by my Canadian citizen husband, a native of Morocco. Lots of different places between the two of us, eh? :)
Priority Family Class applications:
Spouse, common-law partner or dependent child
Adopted children, children to be adopted, orphans and other family classes
Because of short processing times between file creation and sponsor eligibility letter, CPC-Mississauga cancels the AOR.
The visa office must manually send an AOR to the PR applicant or authorized representative once application is received.

I'm not sure I understand your post. It's not CPCM that it supposed to send the AOR (they don't acknowledge receiving your application - you know they got it if you're using a tracking number from the post office or if a courier shows that it was signed for- in fact they don't send you anything until the sponsorship approval, which has been two months since June.......it used to be less than one). It's the VO that sends the AOR to the PA once they receive the PR portion of the application from CPCM.

oh i cant thing any more you make me worry .so what do you dives me .shod i wheat for the embassy to send me letter.

@ A+M ya we are in the same prairie when did u sent your application we should keep in form my applicaton was sent to syria damsucus nov 25ish around there and havint heard nothing yet?? but i think are proces time is a bit faster then the other poeple from experience and from other family memebrs

I don't know, it's up to you, but it might be worth the peace of mind of knowing what they have done with your file by ordering GCMS notes. The downside is that your sponsor will have to do it for you, pay $5, and send you a consent form that you'd return (and that it takes up to 30 days to receive the notes).

Hey Ayad
our application got to Syria on April 12. they sent a letter on may 30 asking for final PR fee. we paid it right away and we've heard nothing since then:( So we are in process over 8 months now. it's CRAZYYY!!!! I remember reading that iraq applications are prioritized due to the circumstances there... I don't know if they still are though?? my husband is in Iran. I hope things speed up quickly!!!!

I got this fax number a while ago :

+33 1 44 43 29 83

I never tried it myself but it was on a page of the official website. It's called the Paris Medical Centre something lol...cuz we were trying to find a number to contact them too, but they only gave a fax number. No email and no phone number. But you can just call the doctor where you did the test and ask if the results were received. That's what we did and found out that Paris received them 1 week after we did them.

Second time when i did my medical i got the TNT AWB number from my Dr. and based on my tracking the parcel was delivered in city Creteil which is 20 min. far from Canadian embassy in Paris.

Yallaaaaaa Damascus please work hard for us today!!! ;D

Will they be closed only 3 days for new year?
If every thing is normal there, they will work the other days as normal? ::)
Can we count on end days of Dec. and first days of January?

Can someone pleasee help me! My husband has to redo his medicals, and he is going to do it at Rizk hospital because thats where he did his first one. He called them this morning and they told him to bring appendix C, its 4 am in Toronto and i had to call the hospital to hear this for myself, and they said the same thing to me-she didnt even say bring 5 passport photos or his B#-i dont know if they even know what he has to bring! She then got a little antsy with me and told me to ask around and hung up!

So is it tru, just Appendix C if at Rizk hospital, and if so where do i downloadjust Appendix C off the internet, dont i have to download the WHOLE application.

Please someone that has done it there, help! xoxo

On their website, it says they are closed Dec. 25th and 26th. I'm not sure about New Years since the ones posted are from last year. They will probably be closed Jan. 1st and/or 2nd as well. But all of the other days in between I believe are normal working days :D

When my husband re-did his, he was asked to bring 2 passport sized photos, his passport, the application number (The one that starts with B or F), and the Appendix C. Bring these along just in case because maybe they do it differently there. Or maybe that woman is just one of those ones who pretends to know everything :P
Here is the link for the Appendix C:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/guides/3911e.pdf
It's the very last page. Just when you click print, click the dot that says "pages" and then type the page number of Appendix C. That way you don't have to print the whole thing.
