you advise them of address change and you need to send a CSQ request for your spouse ...go to MICC website fill out 2 forms of "formulaire dengagement " and 1 form of " demande de certificat de selection du quebec" and 1 form of pyment through credit card its 253$ the spouse needs to be approved and get it in order to come to Quebec !! its take 1 month for approval and they send a copy to embassy !
we had a bad week,I hope that we have good news next week

Thanks Ramz for your quick answer.Wow are you serious?I am in the middle of the process .do I really have to do all these? What if I wait for him to come? I mean if he gets the visa and then we move to Quebec do we need to do anything special? Thanks

i think that the port of ntry need to be where u are now if he has no CSQ cause in quebec they require the CSQ certificate ....so yes if u wait unless u more and he flies into ottawa or toronto then u drive here !! :)

Thanks a lot Ramz for the information :).I wish they knew how they have put our lives on hold!

Happy lonlely wedding anniversary to me :( :'( ??? :(

Guys plz help me with this situation:

I'm applying to sponsor my conjugal partner, if our application gets denied and then we marry to prove our relationship as genuine, do we have to start over? or they'll just continue the process?

Thankssss

Happy anniversary! It will be over soon. And you will celebrate so many anniversaries with your spouse,I know it hurts as mine passed without having him beside me.Hope we all hear so many good news soon. :)

Hi Erina,
Check the "Canadian legal information Institute" site [http://www.canlii.org/en/ca/irb/index.html]you will learn a lot about conjugal partner cases that were taken to court. By avoiding what mistakes people did you can have better chances.
In the "full text" box type conjugal partner and then click search, you'll find 2893 cases.
This site is also useful for all other type of information, just type in your key word and search.. e.g. Sponsorship + interview might be useful for wait me my love since he or she is having an interview soon i believe.
As for interviews at this hard time in Damascus I personally don't think they are random, I believe if the officer have some concern he or she will call for an interview becuase they most probably have to answer to thier bosses and if something wrong happens with that particular case they examined they will be looked at unfavorably in terms of promotions or what ever. I think Sohrab might be able to give us more information about how the system works if he is allowed to

Hope this will be useful!

Good Luck for all

By the way,
Sponsorship + interview + Damascus search gives back 58 results, out of which only one case was refused based on the interview and after appealing; the appeal was dismissed by the judge

Good luck

Thank you, this website seems informative, but it doesn't really answer my question. I'm just wondering, what happens after my application for conjugal partnership gets refused, and then I marry. Will I have to start the whole process from the beginning, or how does it work?
Good Luck for all

What I know is if a sponsorship application is refused, you have the right to appeal it if it was an outland application. During the appeal process, if the applicant supplies new convincing information, the appeal might be allowed !
This is of course just a chemist's feed back not a lawyer. You could ask one of the founders of the family sponsorship forum [Leon or PMM] "put thier name in the topic line to get thier attention" they know much better.

Good luck
