guys wish me a good luck in my interview in jan 9, i still have 40days wow i will die until jan 9 come.... somebody told me they can refuse you at the interview, and i didnt believe him .. i said come on this is a joke or what...

They can refuse you, but it's very unlikely. They'll just have some questions about your relationship. Be relaxed and just tell them the truth. You'll be fine!

my interview is in syria, and they just asked for my passport, but my medical test in expired, so im thinking my next week to redo it..
you had an interview right? how was it and did you do it in lebanon or in syria?

How long have u guys been waiting for an anwser those that have got an interview or ppr?? Also is okay to call or get my mp to cal Syria and ask if they started my application there just to know what's going on or of they have received it???

unfortunetly they dont advise you of any info unless they require something or missing info or interview ...its just a waiting game ...some waited 8 months and no interview just an e mail advising for PPR and some waited 13 or 15 months with or without interview it varies from 8 to 13 + months ....there is no pattern look at the chart youll see how it varies.

the interview is for the sponsored person the non canadian basically ...but if you are living with her you could tag along i guess as per scarycemetery's feedback she went along with her husband and they asked her a few questions but the interview is for the person bieng sponsored not the sponsor

Shas posted last week that they were in process since aug. 2010. I asked him the same question when they got PPR last week he was asked to redo medical in Oct. They had a long wait!

I worry about our situation because of the embassies that were closed in iran

Dear samira I dont not think it causes any more delay because canadian embassy in Tehran has nothing to do with our applications, the only possible effect is that the relationship of the two countries get worse and I think it is now.

Hi Ramz hope you are having an ok week The lack of PPRs this week is disappointing but my husband reminded me today to have hope and be positive... it makes it easier on each other. hard but true. one more day.... Damascus is just getting ready to start the day.... c'mon Damascus!!!!!!!!
